How To Grow A Vegetable Garden In A Small Space

You don’t need a lot space to grow anything, honestly. Realistically, most household who wish to grow food, don’t have the space for rows of veggies and we found a few ways how to grow a vegetable garden in a small space!

Tower Garden

The tower garden is my first recommendation because it’s where convenience and healthy meets. It is low maintenance for newbies or busy people as well as it a healthy option for everyone. Assembly is easy, their are affordable payment options, and it takes up about 3 feet of space- perfect for indoor or outdoor. The tower garden uses aeroponics to grow plants almost 3x as much as you typically would yield growing in soil. The way it works is basically, a mixture of water and mineral nutrients waterfall up the tower from the bottom reservoir to water the plants’ roots on a timely schedule. The most work it requires is the simple assembly.

Container Gardens

Container gardens are basically growing plants in planters/pots. I have a small space in my backyard that holds about 30+ plants that resides in planters and they all do pretty well. Also with planters, you can re-arrange your pots how you like and use plant stands to save space and room. Planters are even a great choice when wanting to create gorgeous spaces by mixing different flowers together – also known as companion gardening.

Raised Garden Beds

Raised garden beds are a step up from planters because typically they are about 4-5 feet long and wide and act as a in ground garden bed, just raised usually by wooden or steel legs. It’s a great option because it consolidate all your plants into one designated space. Due to the elevated nature, it keeps pest at a minimal as well.
