Mint comes in a plethora of varieties that you can either use in beverages, while cooking, or for great smells around the home. It’s fast growing and spreads pretty fast so sharing a pot with another herb is not ideal. It requires as much as natural light as possible, weekly watering, and good drainage. Thyme is a hardy herb that likes to be watered sparingly, bright light, and good drainage as well. It goes well with most baked meals and canned preserves. Thyme can be grown with other hardy herbs such as lavender and rosemary.
Rosemary is another herb that like tons of sun, water sparingly, and drainage. Rosemary is a delicious addition to baked dinners.
Oregano spreads pretty quickly and taste delicious in meals and is a great alternative for immune support.
Fresh basil compliments your favorite Italian dishes so well and is very rewarding to grow. It will wilt when it’s thirsty and be prolific when happy. It’s a great teaching herb. You can dry basil for use later or use fresh in your favorite pesto recipe.
Plant like minded plants together. Rosemary and thyme bought like to be drier than mint, so they shouldn’t be planted with mint.
Only use planters with adequate drainage holes.
It’s best to provide each herb with as much as natural light as possible, if not, try investing in grow lights.
Room temperature is ideal for these herbs, no need for a humidifier.

I have grown mint, cilantro, and basil in my home. My basil is still going strong. i will need to begin again with the others. I might have to give thyme a try.

YEP. Since you are indoors, you are in control of the "weather" conditions.
